A prestigious academic medical center in Burlington, MA, is seeking a Gastroenterology Hepatologist to its Division of Gastroenterology due to growth. This is a nationally recognized program with a collaborative, academic environment.
Practice and Position Highlights:
• The division is comprised of 23 physicians and 9 advanced practice providers, committed to providing compassionate, high-quality, patient-focused care.
• Providers see approximately 20,000 outpatients annually for a wide variety of GI and liver-related problems, including regionally recognized care in inflammatory bowel disease, hepatology, nutrition, biliary tract disorders, pancreatic disease, colon cancer, and gastrointestinal motility disorders.
• This hospital and medical center is home to one of the leading Liver Transplant Programs in the country.
• Provide comprehensive medical care to patients with liver disease, including pre- and post-liver transplant care.
• Participate in both inpatient and outpatient care, including diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopy.
• Collaborate within a multidisciplinary team dedicated to innovation, teaching, and research.
• Full-time schedule: Monday–Friday, with inpatient coverage, outpatient clinic, and endoscopy.
• Call coverage: 3 weekends per year and 1 night per month.
• Focus on General Hepatology with opportunities to participate in the Liver Transplant Program.
