We are seeking an experienced Interventional Radiologist to provide locum tenens coverage in Tennessee. This is an excellent opportunity with flexible locum coverage with a broad procedural mix and no diagnostic reading responsibilities.

Overview

6-month 1099 locum assignment with option to extend
Flexible schedule; preference for 7 shifts in a row
9 hours restricted on site
15 hours of unrestricted call
No diagnostic radiology reads
Must have completed a residency in radiology and a fellowship in IR or have sufficient experience to qualify for requested procedures

Angiography & Venography

Diagnostic and interventional peripheral and visceral angiography/venography

Angioplasty & Stenting

Balloon angioplasty
Drug-coated balloon angioplasty
Cutting balloon angioplasty
Peripheral, venous, arterial, carotid, iliac, SFA, and other stent placements

Thrombectomy & Thrombolysis

Peripheral thrombectomy/thrombolysis
Pulmonary embolism interventions
DVT interventions
Stroke interventions
Dialysis graft thrombectomy/thrombolysis

Embolization

Uterine artery embolization (UAE)
GI bleed embolization
TIPS and portal interventions
Tumor embolization

Other Interventional Procedures

IVC filter placement and retrieval
Image-guided biopsies, including liver, lung, kidney, and bone
Abscess drainage
Biliary drainage and stenting
Nephrostomy tube placement
Paracentesis
Thoracentesis
