We are seeking an Interventional Radiologist for a new locum position in Illinois. Providers will perform a broad range of image-guided diagnostic and therapeutic procedures for inpatient and outpatient services, supporting two hospital sites.
We are seeking an Interventional Radiologist for a new locum position in Illinois. Providers will perform a broad range of image-guided diagnostic and therapeutic procedures for inpatient and outpatient services, supporting two hospital sites.
Responsibilities
- 20+ shifts/month, consecutive shifts preferred
- Weekday clinic 8–10 hours and weekend 24-hour IR call
- CT- and ultrasound-guided biopsies (lung, thyroid, renal, liver, bone, lymph node, bone marrow)
- Drain placements and management (abscess drains, chest tubes, drain exchanges)
- Biliary procedures
- GI and GU interventions
- Vascular procedures and hemodialysis access
- Oncology-related interventional procedures
- Collaborate with hospital teams, procedural staff, and referring physicians
- EMR: Epic
Qualifications
- Board Certified (IR)
- MD or DO
- Active Illinois medical license
- DEA and ACLS required
- Minimum 1 year of IR experience
