Position Overview

A mission-driven hospital in New York is seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Endocrinologist to join its growing medical team. This role provides a balanced mix of inpatient and outpatient care, focusing on the diagnosis and management of complex endocrine and metabolic disorders.

The physician will collaborate with a multidisciplinary care team to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care while supporting education and long-term disease management in a diverse patient population. 

Key Responsibilities

  • Diagnose and manage endocrine disorders including diabetes, thyroid disease, adrenal disorders, pituitary disorders, osteoporosis, and metabolic conditions
  • Provide both inpatient consultations and outpatient clinic care
  • Develop individualized treatment plans and monitor long-term patient outcomes
  • Educate patients and families on disease management, prevention, and lifestyle strategies
  • Collaborate with primary care physicians, hospitalists, and specialty teams
  • Participate in rotating weekend call coverage
  • Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to hospital quality and compliance standards

Qualifications

  • MD or DO from an accredited medical school
  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Endocrinology
  • Active New York medical license (or ability to obtain)
  • Strong clinical judgment and patient-centered communication skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
